L 33 is the stage name of Bulgarian producer and DJ Dayan Kutsarov, whose home town is Veliko Tarnovo. His alias comes from “Lee,” a nickname he used while playing computer games as a teenager. His releases have appeared on Eatbrain, Program, Blackout, Bad Taste, Titan, Rise Audio, Lifted Music, RAM, Addictive Behaviour, Citrus and Avantgarde. Kutsarov has said that Eatbrain was home to his music for about two years, and credited its founder, Jade, with helping shape him as an artist and develop his sound.
Eatbrain released his Scream EP, which includes the tracks “Scream” and “Digital Sound,” and his Karate album in 2016. A lion tattoo on Kutsarov’s left hand helped inspire the album artwork, and MC Nuklear appears with him on “Stand Down,” a track from the album. Earlier, “Discrete” appeared on Andy C’s Nightlife 6 compilation. His releases also include “Hillratz,” issued by Eatbrain in 2023, and the 2024 singles “Get Busy, You Was There” and “Drowned Dead,” released on Neuropunk Records and DeVice, respectively. His first release was an album in 2011, and his releases include the EPs Lifeforms and Broken EP. In 2011, he also released Accelerator EP on Elevated Press Records. He released “Melt/Let Loose” on Addictive Behaviour.
L 33 formed the collaborative project Lights Out with MC Coppa after they met at the first Eatbrain Takeover at Let It Roll in 2015. Kutsarov has described Coppa as both a professional collaborator and a close friend. He has also collaborated with Redpill, Jade and Agressor Bunx. In 2026, L 33 released “Outbreak, Vol. 2” with The In Kill on NeuroPlague Music, followed by the Obsessed EP on BrainRave Music.
