Mindscape is the drum-and-bass project of Hungarian producer Gergely Sasvári. The project started as a trio in Budapest in 2003. He later continued the project alone. Early releases included tracks for DSCI4, among them the Highway EP, and DJ Trace was the first to pick up Sasvári’s music.
Mindscape’s 2007 debut album, Black Lotus, was released on Citrus Recordings and also gave its name to a project involving Chris.SU, Jade, Hydro and Ryme Tyme. Sasvári later released music through Subtitles, Bad Taste and P51, as well as returning to Commercial Suicide and Eatbrain.
Eatbrain released the Reanimator LP series in 2017–2018. Sasvári’s collaborations also included “Planet X” with Chris.SU and Ryme Tyme. He worked with and remixed Cause 4 Concern, Gridlok, Break, Audio, Dose and Noisia. Sasvári began making drum and bass around 1997 and became a producer and DJ. Mindscape was later known as MNDSCP, the name Sasvári uses as a Hungarian drum-and-bass producer.
In 2015, Sasvári released “Ruthless” with Optiv on Dutty Audio and “Phantoms” on Blackout Music NL. His 2017 release “Stormind” appeared on Wolfs Minimal' Label. In 2024, “Genetic” came out on Time Unlimited with DSTRTD SGNL.
