Sydney Bryce

London-born Sydney Bryce began learning piano at about five, growing up in a musical family with early exposure to jazz and soul. Meeting Pete Deadline at a London event introduced her to drum-and-bass production. She began releasing music around 2018 and is also a producer, DJ and songwriter. Her work spans bassline, drum and bass, jungle and liquid funk, while jazz and soul are named among the influences on her sound. Bryce has described building melodies by recording vocal ideas over instrumentals in Logic, often developing the lyrics later. In 2019, she released the single “Lifeline” with Bou and Simula on Drum&BassArena.

“Act Like That”, her 2021 collaboration with Trail, became an early breakthrough. Bryce has also worked with LSB, QZB, Monrroe and Bou, among other producers. Her vocals have featured on releases associated with Flexout, Critical, Spearhead, Shogun and Context Audio; her releases have also appeared on Shogun Audio, Critical Music, Spearhead Records and Flexout Audio. The single “As I Fall” paired her with Monrroe, while “Ashes & Bones” was a collaboration with QZB. She also made the single “Everything I Know” with Jolliffe. Further collaborators include Dan Structure, and she joined pyxis and IYRE for the single “Psychedelics.”

Bryce presents a radio show with her brother, DJ and producer James Tones, and performs as a duo with him. Her releases include the 2024 album Dreams of Tomorrow and the 2025 EP Dream of a Dream, made with Trex. The 2025 single “Lumière” followed, and she collaborated with QZB on the 2026 single “Diamonds”. Other 2026 releases include the single “Not So Bad” with Haasy, the single “Hand In Hand (Revan Remix)” with Qua Rush and Revan, and the single “Nothing More” with Kind Fiction.

In 2026, Bryce also released the single “Coloured Walls” with ArpXP. Her recent performances included a set at Hackney Wick’s Hospital30 Block Party on 1 August and an appearance at Gretchen on 8 August for an event celebrating 15 years of Flexout Audio.
