Skope’s return comes with a Sydney debut for Malux and a bass-forward bill built for heads who like their sounds left of centre.
Skope returns to Sydney with Malux in tow, bringing a fresh angle to the Burdekin Hotel on 7 November. The night also marks the Sydney debut of Malux, Skope’s neurofunk project, putting two sides of his sound in the frame.
COPYCATT and Ohcult join the bill, with Cece and Syrup Stackz also in the mix. They’re part of a crew moving across drum & bass, halftime, 140, UKG, trap and neuro rather than sticking to one lane. Expect turns from rolling pressure to more experimental bass, with room for the tempo and mood to shift.
It’s an 18+ night at the Burdekin Hotel in Sydney, presented by UFO Club Sydney. If you’re after a set of familiar rhythms with a few left-field pivots, this one has range.
