Blu Mar Ten Music began in 2009 alongside Blu Mar Ten’s Natural History album project. The London label is operated by the Blu Mar Ten production group and issues drum and bass, including atmospheric rollers and gritty neurofunk. Designers and visual artists have worked with the label on release artwork. The 2009 project comprised an album and related releases; Natural History appeared in November. The label followed it in 2010 with Natural History Remixes: Part 2, marked BMT004. Its Blu Mar Ten albums also include Love Is the Devil (2011), Famous Lost Words (2013) and Empire State (2016).
In 2012, Blu Mar Ten Music broadened its output to include records by other producers. That year it issued Ed:it’s single Repercussions / Shutter / Echo. Kimyan’s album Yonda followed in 2019, and Conduct’s debut album, Borderlands, came out in 2016. The label also released The Six Million Names of God in 2018. Seba is among the other artists who have released music on the label.
