Darkshire Sound is a drum and bass label established by a group of artists and producers. It grew from Darkshire’s festivals and artistic productions, and is curated by an organisation focused on drum and bass festivals. Its sound ranges from dark drum and bass and neurofunk to experimental bass music, with a focus on harder underground material.
Karpa manages the label, having left his own imprint, Mindicted Music, to concentrate on Darkshire Sound. Releases include Zigi SC’s Hybrid EP, TNTKLZ’s Miasm EP and Absu_NTQL’s Formations LP. The label has worked with artists across the drum and bass community, putting out both individual tracks and EPs. In 2026, Akrom and Kryptomedic released the single Fake Reality on Darkshire Sound. Its first various-artist compilation marked the start of the label. Darkshire Sound also issued the Unhallowed EP by FractalOne and Nemean, as well as Karpa’s solo Serpent EP.
