Inform Records was founded by Mota in Portsmouth in 2011 and operates as an independent drum and bass label. Its releases span liquid funk and neurofunk, with soulful drum and bass at its heart. It began releasing music in 2012. Funkware, Duoscience and Command Strange have all released music on it.
Among its releases are Soul Connection’s Spectrum EP, issued in 2013, and Funkware’s Never Too Late EP, released the following year. In January 2013, Inform Records put out Pennygiles’ Rhodes Adrift with a remix by Random Movement. Its other releases include Trojiin’s You Again/Therapy, SetJ’s See The Light/Wonder and Caleo’s Twisted Keys EP. The label also established Reform Music, a sub-label covering footwork, halftime, jungle and related bass music.
