Intelligent Recordings is a drum and bass label from Kyiv, Ukraine, run by DJ and producer Mako since 2009. It leans towards the deep and melodic end of the genre, with room for downtempo and other electronic music.
Villem, Elek and DLR are among the artists it has released, along with Duoscience, whose single Sinai came out in 2013, and DYNAMIC and MSDOS, who put out Chinatown Blue a year earlier. Scott Allen, Physical Illusion and Stereotype have also appeared on the label, which has also put on Intelligent Recordings showcases.
After 15 years of the parent label, Pavlo Kuzmin and Hordii Yermak started Svitlo Music as a sublabel. Intelligent Recordings is distributed by the Dutch company Triple Vision.
