Liq-Weed Ganja Recordings is a drum and bass label launched in 2005 in the circle of DJ Hype, linked to his labels Playaz Recordings and Ganja. Its sound mixed liquid drum and bass with ragga influences, alongside more jump-up material.
Funky Technicians opened the label’s numbered series with “One World” and “Legends of Love”. A Sides released “Nature Girl / Take a Chance” in its first year, and Netsky followed in 2009 with “Everyday / Come Back Home”. Heist, G Dub and MC Fats have also released music on the label.
