Metalheadz Platinum is a sublabel of Metalheadz, the London drum and bass label founded in 1994 by Goldie, Kemistry and Storm, set up for the deeper, more serious side of its output. It began in May 2004 with dBridge and Vegas's 12-inch "Bellini / True Romance," the first release in the series, and has since put out both singles and EPs.
Its 2005 releases included Total Science's "Defcon 69 / Loose Ends" and Klute's "Don't Wanna Be Alone / Rosemary." Calyx, Spirit, Fanu and Digital have also released music on the imprint, and more recent artists include Conrad Subs, Detboi and HLZ.
