MethLab have put together a new, large-scale sample pack! #Dembreakznpadztho includes 50 pads and drums prepared by a whole host of artists. The pack will be available completely free of charge: all you need to do is subscribe to
the newsletter, and on 27 May a download link will arrive at your email address.
The artists who contributed their sounds:
Allied // Audeka // Barbarix // Billain // Broken Note // Disprove // Cause4Concern // Corteks // Current Value // Disphonia // Kursa // Loop Stepwalker // N2 // MachineCode // Malux // Minor Rain // Optiv // Rawtekk // Skynet // Signal // The Sect // Silent Witness // Steelan // War // Woulg
MethLab are also running a competition, with prizes including a vinyl copy of “MethLab 1”, digital versions of MethLab’s first and second EPs, and a T-shirt. However, the conditions are not simple: you have to guess which artist created each of the samples. Answers should be left on
Soundcloud, or on
