The Persistence of Memory LP

Substance’s first LP lands in deep dubstep and grime territory, with the producer’s solo cuts framed by a strong set of collaborators. Hypho and Rakjay join him on opener “Aim for Your Ear,” while “Final Boss” features Griz-O; the closing track, “Death Society,” brings together Shauna Marshall and Nurries.

That mix of solo work and guest appearances gives the album a broader cast without taking focus from Substance’s own production.
