Carasel was already a hip-hop fan when a friend’s Walkman introduced him to drum and bass at about 11 or 12. He moved to Bristol for university, began putting on events under the Ambush brand, and describes the city as home and a place where family is close. A Bristol-based MC, Carasel works across drum and bass and hip-hop and has also been described as a DJ. His early event work included hosting for One Nation, Random Concept, Renegade Hardware, Raveology, Hysteria and Bedlam. He is based in the United Kingdom, and his most-played regions include Bristol, London, South and East England, West and Wales, and Manchester.
Carasel is associated with AFT Records, which released the album Progression (Deluxe) in 2012. His 2022 album Dreams of Paradise features hip-hop beats, with production contributions from drum-and-bass producers Break and Crissy Criss. Guest MCs on the album include DRS, Harry Shotta, Navigator, David Boomah, Dynamite MC, Inja, Wishmaster, Rodney P and Blacksmith. In 2024, he released the EP Year of the Dragon. His 2024 releases also included the single “Big Flame Emojis,” and he featured on “The Funk Out,” a track from Heritage & Sound. His releases include the EP On Course E.P.
In 2025, Carasel joined Harry Shotta and Rodney P on the single Born To Fly EP, released on Riddim Killa Records. That year also brought the single Stir It Up (Molecular Remix) with The Sauce, on The Sauce Recordings, and Slap It Down with Alibi, on V Recordings. Carasel’s event appearances date back to 2012; in 2026 he played at Sawmills in September, Hackney Wick in August and Depot Mayfield on 9 October. In 2026, he released “USB” with Disrupta on Born On Road.
