Avantgarde is a drum and bass label led by the producer Dabs, who announced the imprint with Grotesque in November 2011. Enei was chosen to open its release run, and his single Zeus / Heavy Tone came out on Avantgarde in 2012.
Dabs set up the label to put out music he enjoyed, putting musical quality ahead of commercial aims. Funk and groove shape its choices, along with technical skill and originality. In 2017 the label issued Thor (Break Remix) / Jitters, a single credited to Break, Dabs and Disprove, and M-zine is among the other artists it has released.
