Delta9 Recordings

Delta9 Recordings is a drum and bass label that grew from a northern Italian event-promotion project begun in Bergamo in 2003 by Echonic, Noya and Ronka. After nine years of promoting events, the crew established the label in 2012. Its early activities expanded from club events to free parties, for which the crew bought and partly built a sound system. The label operates between Bergamo and Berlin, focusing on drum and bass, including darker, minimal styles and techstep. It hosts events and showcases centred on drum and bass.

The label’s first compilation, 27, appeared in 2012, with tracks by various artists. Its later compilations include Annual 2017, also featuring multiple artists, and the two-part From The Streets series. The first volume takes a minimal, ambient and deep approach, while the second is more oriented toward the dance floor. Among its singles is Mystic State Masochist, released in 2013. Delta9 Recordings has also issued music by Kung, Disprove and Billain.

Raider joined the label in 2015 to assist its expansion and raise its visibility. Delta9 Recordings established DLT9 as a sister label focused on deeper drum and bass and emerging artists; Pastel Series is another sub-label.
