Founded in 2016 by Hoofbeats crew members Qo, Computerartist and Joshu4, Hoofbeats Music is a Czech label focused on drum and bass. Before the label was established to issue music by crew members, the DJs held parties in Olomouc and nearby areas. Its releases cover styles such as neurofunk, liquid and dancefloor. The roster draws on local performers and the wider crew, while also featuring artists from abroad.
Hoofbeats Music puts out records by artists from underground DJs to established producers, including Changing Faces, Neonlight and Mizo. Changing Faces’ single Hypnotic / Monochrome appeared on the label in 2019. In 2021, The Hoofbeats Music Family Album marked the label’s fifth anniversary. The label also stages events and showcases to give its artists a platform. In 2026, Neonlight, Prdk and Qo appeared on Propaganda (Neonlight Remix).
Behind the aliases are Petr Vicher (Qo), Marek Vehovský (Computerartist) and David Polášek (Joshu4). The label’s range also takes in techstep and 4×4.
