Proximity Recordings is a drum and bass label that DJ and producer Basher started in early 2010, aiming to release dance music with variety and originality. Alongside drum and bass it has put out jungle, dubstep and other electronic music.
Bladerunner, Serum and Voltage are among its artists, and M-zine and Axon have released there as well: M-zine's single Peristaltic / Riddance came out in 2011, and Axon's four-track Fibres EP followed the next year as PROX030. Between 2010 and 2012 the label also ran a nine-episode podcast, and it puts on showcases, club nights and festival appearances to bring its artists in front of crowds.
