Soul in Motion Records is a London drum and bass label run by DJ Bailey together with Joe Moses, who produces as Need For Mirrors. The name comes from a 1997 DJ Krust record, and the music policy is simple: release tracks that fit the label's identity and that the founders still want to play. DLR, Spirit and Randall are among the artists connected to it.
The first release, SIM001, paired Jonny L and Need For Mirrors on "Welcome / Day of Mercury". Krust has put out EPs on the label, and his collaboration with Need For Mirrors as Cloud Lord produced "Flotation Cloud" and the Mod EP. Soul in Motion also hosts regular club nights in London, keeping the label tied to the dancefloor its records are made for.
