Titan Records was founded in London in 2011 by drum and bass producer A.M.C. Its releases span drum and bass, neurofunk and liquid funk, with the label set up to cover different strands of the music and give emerging producers a platform. The first release, the Surface EP, came out on 18 July 2011 with tracks by A.M.C and others. A.M.C developed the label with help from The Risky of Drum&BassArena.
Early releases included music by Subsonic, whose 2011 single “Kamikaze / Flatliner” appeared on the label. Serial Killaz and DJ Oder were also among the artists on its early releases. Its roster has also included S9, Teddy Killerz, Turno and Kanine. A.M.C’s own releases include the Noise Of Thunder EP and Southpaw EP, and the label marked five years with the 5 Years Of Titan series before A.M.C and Turno’s Collision EP.
