Fishy’s Defrost is a chilled, atmospheric D&B album built around concise arrangements and basslines, letting its ideas unfold without excess. The Norwegian producer brings in Dan Guidance for “You Are It” and “Alien Plants,” then Peron for “Beyond Logic” and “We Dont Know,” giving the latter stretch a collaborative lift.
From “Waterfall” and “Rain Again” through the title track and “Nano,” the LP frames drum & bass as both versatile and understated—a fluid journey rather than a collection of big, abrupt turns.
