Grief’s portal saga takes a darker turn: the droid returns from its final mission infected by a biomechanical parasite, its allegiance unknown and its systems due for a rebuild. That sci-fi thread frames a set of dark drum & bass with jungle and techstep markers, from the ominous titles “Insect Warfare” and “Welcome To Paranoia” to the closing “Lapse.” Grief’s Elliot Wright wrote and produced the album; Technical Itch handled the analog-stem mastering.
