Mooncat reshapes Isaac Maya’s “Rub A Dub,” bringing a reggae-inflected drum & bass touch to a tune featuring MC Mega Zimze. The track revisits a 2011 collaboration between Maya and Mekha, giving the vocal-led cut a new frame.
Released on LowFreqMX, the Mexico City label Maya founded, this remix links his long-running ragga-jungle roots with Mooncat’s reggae-influenced sound from Spain’s drum & bass scene.
