On Fire EP, Mista Trick brings a groove-first drum & bass approach to Fokuz, with drums recorded using 28 microphones and carefully quantised to keep their human feel. The production leans into soulful percussion rather than an overly electronic finish.
Across four tracks, “Don’t Wanna Shake” pairs the Mista Trick Collective with WBBL, while “Cry Me A River” and “Sangria For Breakfast” round out a release shaped as much by drum feel as by bass pressure.
