Two years after Two Sides of Everything, Riya and Collette Warren revisit its songs with a broad cast of drum & bass producers, turning the Carnelian Music debut into a more club-focused companion. VIPs from Sl8r and L-Side sit alongside remixes by Bladerunner, Phaction, The Vanguard Project and others, with the vocal performances still at the heart of the tracks.
There’s a personal thread in the Luke Truth VIP of “Surrender”: it grew from a Carnelian vocal competition, which Truth won. The collection also brings fresh dancefloor treatments to songs the pair wanted to give another chance to shine.
