Ben Soundscape makes his Flight Pattern debut with a four-track EP that moves between soulful uplift and deeper, weightier drum & bass. “Look Inside” pairs Collette Warren’s vocals and smooth melodies with an overdriven low end, while “Big Sur” drifts through lush, sunset-hued atmospheres over driving rhythms.
On the title track, Stereotype joins in for crisp breaks and a shifting, groove-led sub-bass; closer “Faded” builds an evolving melody around cut-up drums and morphing bass. The release reflects Soundscape’s long-standing work as founder of Intrigue and as one half of The Insiders.
