Fox
Producer
Fox and Sl8r bring a distinctly Manchester-rooted edge to V Recordings on “Skull & Crosses.” Sl8r’s stripped-back production is built for sound systems, with rolling basslines and chopped amen breaks channeling the raw spirit of UK drum & bass.
Their collaboration draws on deep local ties: Fox is a key voice in collectives including LEVELZ and Swing Ting, while Sl8r has built his reputation across labels such as Hospital and Shogun. They had already joined forces on Lenzman’s The North Quarter in 2024; this track extends that partnership on V.
