Harriet Jaxxon’s two-track return on Souped Up pairs the rave-vocal charge of “Stop Me”—driven by punchy percussion and a heavy bassline—with “4 Me,” which opens out around soulful vocals and slick breakbeats. The tracks mark her first solo release for the label and her first release in two years.
Label boss Serum took notice of “Stop Me” after hearing a demo played from a phone; “4 Me,” sent along later, completed the release.
