Cooh and SMYAH’s four-track collaboration pairs raw energy and immersive melodies with junglist rhythms. Released through Sound in Picture, it also connects the music to photography by Angelina Crosby, whose images draw on the fog, cold air and blue-hour light of the Maine coast.
That visual thread suits the sequence’s atmospheric framing, from “The Craft” through “Sweeping Currents,” while the project reflects Sound in Picture’s ongoing meeting of electronic music and visual art.
