Promoter / crew
Let It Roll is the drum & bass festival in the Czech Republic that its organisers bill as the biggest in the world. Every summer it brings tens of thousands of fans, headline DJs and producers, and new artists to one site. It started in 2002 as a small underground party in Prague and has grown into one of the main institutions of drum & bass culture. Unlike festivals that mix house, techno and EDM, Let It Roll books only drum & bass and jungle, from liquid and rollers to neurofunk, jump up and experimental bass. It is run by the promoter Let It Roll, which also has its own label.

History
The first Let It Roll took place in 2002 at the former Prague club Mlejn, as a party for about 500 people. As it grew, the event moved to bigger Prague venues, including the club Abaton and the Harfa hall. In 2008 it became an open-air festival, held at Pískovna Oplatil in Staré Ždánice near Pardubice, where nearly 3,000 people attended. From that year the open air ran alongside an indoor winter edition in Prague.
In 2013 the festival moved to Benešov near Prague. That year attendance passed 15,000 for the first time, and the festival introduced its first giant futuristic main stage and its first opening show. In 2015 it moved to the former military airfield at Milovice, where it grew to a three-day event. In 2025 it moved again, to Lake Most, with a floating DJ stage on the water. The 2027 edition will mark 25 years of Let It Roll.
Music
The programme covers drum & bass in all its forms: neurofunk, liquid funk, dancefloor, jump up, jungle, deep and minimal, plus cross-genre bass. Past editions have featured Andy C, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Sub Focus, Noisia, Netsky, Camo & Krooked and Mefjus. The 2026 lineup was headlined by Chase & Status and Pendulum Live, with A.M.C, Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson, Koven, Camo & Krooked b2b Mefjus, and Calyx b2b The Upbeats, among more than 130 international artists.
Stage design and opening shows
Each year the main stage is designed from scratch, usually with a science-fiction theme of robots and space, and comes with lasers, LED screens and pyrotechnics. The Opening Ceremony is a theatrical show that moves forward an ongoing story about a crew of robots travelling through space. At Lake Most in 2025, the main stage was about 57 metres wide and 21 metres high and styled as a spaceship. Its Saturday show, "New Home", had the robots find their new home on the shores of the lake.
The Immortalz
The festival calls its audience the Immortalz. According to the organisers, about 70% of visitors at the 2025 edition came from outside the Czech Republic. Alongside the main stage, the festival puts weight on the shared experience and on smaller stages with an underground feel.
Lake Most
Since 2025 the summer festival has been held by Lake Most in northern Bohemia. The lakeside site gives visitors space to relax during the day, including swimming where it is permitted.
Let It Roll Winter
Let It Roll Winter is the indoor edition in Prague. The 2027 edition takes place on 22–23 January 2027 at Křižík Pavilions, with three stages and more than 40 artists. Let It Roll also runs club nights under Let It Roll Warm Up and Let It Roll On Tour.
Next edition: 2027
Let It Roll 2027, the 25th-anniversary edition, takes place on 5–7 August 2027 at Lake Most. Campsites must be cleared by Sunday 8 August. At the time of writing, the official site listed starting prices of €162 for the three-day Festival Pass, €209 for Festival & Camp and €281 for the premium "No Compromises" package. These are starting prices, and they change with availability.
Practical information
Visitors can come by festival shuttle bus from Prague city centre and the airport, by public transport to Most, or by car with paid parking. Accommodation ranges from basic camping with your own tent to pre-pitched tents, glamping and air-conditioned accommodation. The site runs on a cashless payment system. Entry is strictly 18+, tickets are issued in the holder's name, and they are non-refundable. A three-day festival on an open site is physically demanding, so plan for sun, dust and long nights.
Why it matters
Let It Roll helped take drum & bass from the underground into international festival culture. It gives established names and newer artists the same platform, and drum & bass is the whole focus, not one side stage. Official website: letitroll.eu.
