Evolution Chamber

Task Horizon, Magnetude and Receptor established Evolution Chamber as an outlet for their own music. It began with Task Horizon’s productions that did not suit other labels, and gave its founders freedom over their releases. The imprint centres on progressive neuro and dancefloor drum and bass. After a pause, the three founders relaunched it as an artist collective in 2018, with a policy welcoming experimental and varied approaches to drum and bass. Magnetude’s “Mantis,” issued in 2019, was the first release on the label by an artist other than Task Horizon.

Joe Ford, Synergy and High Maintenance have each contributed music to Evolution Chamber. Its releases include Magnetude’s “Third Rail,” Receptor’s “Red Shift” and Task Horizon’s “Sapiens.” The label later shifted its base to Eastern Europe and began working with Czech and Slovak neuro drum-and-bass artists. Its team handles label operations, social media, artwork, marketing, bookings and event management across its members, while Cygnus Music distributes the releases.
