Hybrid Music began in May 2016 as an outlet for the drum and bass duo Hybrid Minds to release their own music. It gives the pair full control of their releases and has since opened up to other producers. Alongside the duo, it has released homesick, Charlotte Haining, Fred V and Lily Denning.
Hybrid Music holds events and showcases with artists from the genre. Later releases by Hybrid Minds on the label include Tides, released in March 2024, and Echoes, issued in August 2025.
