Invicta Audio

Invicta Audio is a drum and bass label and events company based in Bristol, founded by Anton Bailey, Will and Dan. It started as an events brand in 2019 before becoming a label during the Covid-19 lockdown. Its first release was the free compilation The Launch, and its first paid project came out in October 2020. Releases span drum and bass subgenres, including liquid and jump-up, rather than concentrating solely on jump-up. The label has issued tracks and EPs by Disprove, NickBee and Sequential, as well as music by Captain Bass.

In 2020, Invicta Audio released Standing Tall, a single by Harley D and Marge. Its Anton Invicta Presents compilation volumes draw their titles from planets, from Mercury through Jupiter. The label placed second in DNB Arena’s Best Newcomer Label award in 2021, won that award in 2022 and received a nomination in 2023. It was also nominated for DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Label in 2020 and Best Compilation in 2021.
