Vision Recordings was established in 2005 by Dutch trio Noisia as an outlet for the group’s drum-and-bass productions and collaborations, with its members retaining creative control. Its musical focus spans drum & bass and bass music, including heavier and more experimental styles. Noisia’s single The Tide / Concussion was the label’s 2005 release. Vision Recordings issued music by Phace, Mefjus, Icicle and IMANU, and curated stages and events with artists from its roster and affiliated acts. Noisia disbanded in 2022, after which Vision Recordings continued operating.
In 2010, an experimental imprint focused on new talent, Invisible, began releasing music in association with Vision and Division; its releases ended in 2019. Vision Recordings issued three Invisible Definition compilations to close Invisible Recordings’ output. The label marked its 20th anniversary in 2025 with a compilation charting its musical evolution.
