“Options” brings three distinct strands of drum & bass together: Loboski’s dancefloor approach, T-Lex’s jump-up roots and Grace Barton’s vocal songwriting. It’s the trio’s first collaboration, though each has previously released on Crucast, making this a new combination within the label’s catalogue.
Rather than simply pairing a vocalist with two producers, the track draws on all three artists’ established styles, giving the single a crossover feel grounded in the different corners of contemporary D&B they represent.
