“Paradis Perdu” brings Manchester MC and vocalist DRS together with Toulouse four-piece Visages for a new 1985 Music collaboration. It extends a connection first heard on Visages’ 2023 single “I Can’t Stay,” where DRS also featured.
The track also leads into a wider Visages release whose three cuts span soulful drum and bass and rugged dubstep, with Roll Deep’s Roachee appearing elsewhere. That range places this DRS link-up within the group’s ongoing exploration of 1985’s broad bass-music palette.
