Horizons Music is a London drum and bass label founded in 2005 by Clayton Hines and D.Kay and headed by Neil Monteiro. Its roster features Break, BTK and Hybris, and its releases include work by Alix Perez and Digital. Music is issued digitally, and the label puts on events and showcases in London and elsewhere.
An early release was Skitty’s 10 Steps / Breaking Rules, issued in the UK in July 2005. That year, Alix Perez’s Dub Rock / Love Bug also appeared on the label. Monteiro started the Internal Affairs compilation series to feature artists associated with Horizons; its first volume arrived in 2009. The second volume was issued on vinyl in June 2010, with a CD edition following. Digital’s Figjam EP came out on Horizons in 2014. The label’s imprints include Crisis Recordings, Inside Recordings, Progress and Progress LTD.
