Neuropunk Records

Based in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Neuropunk Records concentrates on drum and bass and was founded in 2012. DJ Bes and Garud of Teddy Killerz founded the label after Bes closed TAM Records, building on the Neuropunk podcast. It was created to present new drum-and-bass acts from Russia and neighboring former Soviet countries and bring Russian music to an international audience.

Its debut was a three-track EP featuring Teddy Killerz and Gydra, with a joint track alongside two solo pieces. In 2019, Gydra and Teddy Killerz released Miles High on the label. Its artists include Gydra, Receptor and Nais. The second Neuropunks LP paired participating artists on drum-and-bass tracks inspired by the genre’s roots, while the 100th release was the 55-track compilation Neuropunks 3. TAMLeft and КОСТЁР are sub-labels.
