Gydra brings together Russian producers Eugene Besman, also known as DJ Bes, and Nikolay Shilov, who records as Menfort. Based in Moscow, the duo works in drum and bass, with Bes discussing the project in an interview about its production and sound. The members have experience making both synthesised and natural sounds for games, advertising and cinema, bringing that work into a process built from the ground up rather than around presets or templates.

Bes describes Gydra’s approach as joining neurofunk’s roots with contemporary sound design. The duo released Snake Monastery on Eatbrain, the label’s first solo album. Gydra has also put music out through Blackout Music NL, Bad Taste Recordings, Renegade Hardware and Cause 4 Concern. A collaboration with Teddy Killerz took the form of a three-track EP, while “DEATH TRAP” brought Gydra together with Prolix and Nuklear on Trendkill Records.

In 2025, Gydra joined Shadow League and Virus Syndicate for the single “Welcome To The Jungle” on Blackout Music NL. The same year, “Receptoration: Punks (Gydra Remix) / Parkour (Neonlight Remix)” appeared as a single on Evolution Chamber, with Receptor and Neonlight. Gydra’s 2026 singles include “Zip” on Neuropunk Records and “Deepraw” with Gancher & Ruin on Eatbrain. The duo also released “Doomsday (Gydra Remix)” with Nebulate and Osyrus on Hanzom Music.

4d:Ta3d,

Skrimor (born Dzmitry Vilchytski) is a Warsaw-based DJ and producer working primarily in drum and bass and jungle. He debuted in 2023 and since then has released original tracks and remixes on labels including Evolution Chamber, Eatbrain, Neuropunk, Axon Records and Blackout. On those releases he is credited as writer and producer.

Vilchytski relocated to Poland after completing his studies in 2012 and shifted his focus toward electronic music production. Before that move he played guitar in a local nu‑metal band. That trajectory—live instrumentation early on, then a long period dedicated to production after 2012—led to his first public releases in 2023 under the Skrimor name.

As a DJ Skrimor programs sets across a wide bass-music palette: Bassline, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Drumstep, Dub, Grime, Jungle, UK Funky, UK Garage and UK Grime are all part of his toolkit. His performances in Warsaw and on recorded mixes lean on fast-paced DnB and jungle selections alongside lower‑tempo bass and UK garage cuts, moving between subgenres rather than staying in a single pocket.

Recorded work and label associations indicate a focus on heavier, production-forward DnB. His releases on Eatbrain and Neuropunk place him in a tech‑/neuro‑leaning corner of the scene, while Evolution Chamber, Axon Records and Blackout point to output that accommodates darker, weightier bass design and break editing. He is credited as both writer and producer on his tracks and remixes, which confirms hands‑on involvement in arrangement and sound design rather than only A&R or DJing duties.

Musically, Skrimor’s output emphasizes engineered low end and edited break patterns. His credited production role implies he handles songwriting, beat programming and bass synthesis on his releases. Across his recorded work and DJ sets you can expect cross‑tempo transitions between drum & bass and related UK bass forms, drawing on break manipulation and focused bass layering common to the labels he has worked with.

Public information about specific track titles, collaborations or a complete discography is currently limited to the label roster noted above. What is verifiable: Skrimor is the stage name of Dzmitry Vilchytski; he is a DJ and producer based in Warsaw; he relocated to Poland after finishing his studies in 2012; he formerly played guitar in a local nu‑metal band; he debuted as Skrimor in 2023; and he has released originals and remixes on Evolution Chamber, Eatbrain, Neuropunk, Axon Records and Blackout, credited as writer and producer on those releases.
