SUNANDBASS Recordings began in 2011 as an extension of the SUNANDBASS drum and bass festival, held each year in Sardinia, Italy, and was set up by co-founder and DJ Delicat. Marcus Intalex encouraged the launch and contributed music to the label's first compilation. The label is based in Berlin, Germany.
It issues compilations, EPs, singles and albums of deeper, soulful drum and bass and the intimate club sound tied to the festival's La Cinta beach setting. Calibre, Zero T and FD have music on the label, and BCee's Shelter EP is among its releases. In 2013 it put out Sardinian Remixes by ArpXP, Hellrazor and Kemo, and in 2026 Coloured Walls by ArpXP and Sydney Bryce. The label was created to carry the festival's sound and community beyond its yearly event.
