Nu:Logic reunite for 'Ukiyo' (ft. Thavy Ear), the latest addition to the Hospital30 lineup and a welcomed return for two artists that have been pivotal in shaping the sound of Hospital throughout generations of the label’s history.
'Ukiyo,’ the Japanese term for "the floating world”, finds Nu:Logic balancing nostalgia with progress, still striking a chord with listeners more than a decade on from their formation as a duo in 2010. Light and ethereal in its opening stretch, 'Ukiyo' carries the airiness and euphoria that's run through Nu:Logic's catalogue since day one.
The contributions the Gresham brothers have so generously offered the imprint over the years are worth studying in their own right. Outside their most recent collaboration on 'Chromium' via Hospital Records: Forza Horizon 6, the brothers continue to be cornerstone Hospital artists both individually and as a duo.
