Liquicity Records was founded in 2011 by Maris Goudzwaard and Maduk, the stage name of Mark van der Schoot. The Dutch label is based in Amsterdam and focuses on liquid drum and bass. Its formation followed Goudzwaard’s work with Maduk, while the Liquicity YouTube channel had begun in 2008.
Memro’s Homecoming EP - (Liquicity Presents) was released in 2012. The label’s releases also include music by T & Sugah, NCT, Rameses B and Feint, alongside Maduk’s own work. In January 2013, Liquicity established a company covering its label and events. Goudzwaard and van der Schoot have run the organisation, with van der Schoot producing under the Maduk name. Other releases include Maduk’s “Nayru,” “Oblivion” by Cartoon and Ewert Sundja, and “Gravity” by Rameses B and Elena Maya.
