Rift returns to Four Corners for his third outing on the label, following his Metalheadz debut. Across four tracks, Labrat EP pairs dark atmospheres and intricate drum work with rolling basslines, drawing on early-2000s drum & bass, future garage and old-school tech flavours.
“Back Off,” “False Gods,” “Labrat” and “Nothingness” keep the pressure moving while holding onto the suspenseful, immersive edge that runs through Rift’s productions.
