“Daydream” is the second single from Mindstate’s EP for Space Cadet, following “Ipanema.” It brings the producer together with rappers Verbz and Nelson Dialect for a drum & bass-meets-hip-hop collaboration, building on the trio’s earlier link-up, “Patterns.” Mindstate’s soulful, musical approach to drum & bass gives this meeting of scenes a natural home on the Manchester label.
